Hi all,
I do a lot of mixing in the mpc live standalone and typically have all of my programs and channels turned way down for headroom later down the line. As a result my audio bounces are much quieter than the one shot samples. None of this is a problem until we are scrolling through the samples within the sample edit menu. There one wrong pad touch sends ear splitting volume of my one shot drums etc....any work flow tips for this? Have been just keeping one hand on the headphone knob to watch out for when i accidentally blast my ears with a clap or cymbal. It would be nice to prevent it from happening again and again. Bit of a mood killer.
