Overall really like the MPCX as a hardware platform but am finding it unusable for basic midi sequencing. If using MIDI IN/OUT patching to either of my 2 external keyboards (Roland JP8000, Yam P-515) the note sensitivity to the way they are played is not the same as under local control. Of course I have local off on either keyboard. Appears to be both sustain and velocity. It sounds totally different. Anyone have similar issues? May just have to part with it and go back to Live which I don't want to do as I like the integration with my Modular/CV gear and audio recording quality a lot. But this is so basic it should just connect and play/record like in local mode. Thanks.

Are you able to save templates that are dialed in to your velocity settings needs/tastes? Load those when you need em?

Stay with X and work through it, get those templates dialed in.
