Hello Everybody.
I have a very simple basic question. Ok two!

1. Whats the overall difference between Trim and Chopping?

2. Most important! - Let me try n explain my simple question (English in not my native language)
When I chop my sample, can I section my chopping and have some of the sample 'not marked'?

I know I can section the whole sample and only Assign slices I need.. BUT I want to know, if I can cut my slices so they have their own start and end - So that there's space between each slice? And they don't connect.
(The space containing sound I don't need.)

Hope I explained well enough, and someone has an answer. :D

Kind Regards

Trim is for extracting a smaller sample from the sample.

Look for link icon. (I use a Ren so no idea where it is on the newer stuff )
This unlinks the start/end point

Usually meaning start/end of audio sample.

Thanks for the help! Worked exactly how I wanted. Lovely to have a place like this, to get some answers. It can be difficult (and tiring) to find the right tutorial on youtube.

Thanks! I saved the Manual, good to have, but maybe I'll come back with more questions.
