I'm currently on os 2.4. My question is when I update to 2.8 do I have to do the updates prior to 2.8 or can I just go straight to 2.8?

I have X, os 2.8. I went from 2.6 to 2.8.
Go str8 to 2.8.
All updates are a roll up (combination) all prior updates.
Stop getting automatically offended when you see gold letters!

Make backups or save as a different name of your projects in case you have issues with the update. Saving changes the project files and you cannot load them again on an older version.
