Akai Midi Mix with mpc live

Hi there testing this out, works ok assigining parameters so far but not getting any lights happening, anyone knowledgable about this?

Only thing I'd try is set the MPC to send midi out to the midi mix.

I've been eyeing one of those controllers as well. Keep us posted how it works out

Someone mentioned that it only lights up when connected to ableton/ or software. I think it was Masadas video, if it wasn’t then it was one of the random reviews I watched.

the midi won't light up as the mpc software doesn't currently support that feature

Thats pretty disapointing you think akai gear would work with other akai gear kinda why i bought it and not better made novation one. it works at least but no lights or feedback on what your doing so also a bit useless, any chance there will be a firm ware update to address this? im only interested in standalone mode and currently no way to send midi out over usb that i can see, should i return this cheaply madecontroller for something that works or is it gonna be the same deal with everything?
