loss of selected Instruments in Komplete Kontrol session

Any Idea why, opening projects, the selected instruments are missing as if I never chose an instrument. The midi data is still in thee project and the Komplete Kontrol plugin loads but as if I never chose an instrument within it the plug in. I haven't been saving the sound names in the project so now I'm kinda screwed

Help maybe?
