Mpc live 2 downgrading firmware

Hi folks
I have the mpc 1 and been using 2.8.1 for a while and encountered few functionalities now working so i went back to 2.7.2. Which is fine for me.
Should i want to go for mpc live 2 instead( portability etc..) do you know if the unit ships with 2.8.1 & if so is it possible to downgrade to 2.7.2?

My best bet is that if you could downgrade the one you can do the same with the live.

When my Live mk2 showed up, it was running either 2.7.1 or 2.7.2... don't remember... but it should work downgraded to 2.7.2

The Live 2 works just like the Live MK1, One, and X as far as firmware is concerned - you can downgrade it. Also, it's currently shipping with 2.7.1 or 2.7.2 (can't remember either).

Yes, they are the same whichever MPC you run. It's always possible some bugs could be model specific (e.g relating to buttons or other hardware) but all the 'main' bugs I'm aware of affect all the MPCs, and also the MPC Software.
