Hi There - New to MPCs in general. So stoked to have the Live 2... but also so confused coming from the acoustic world.
Basically I'm trying to route my Alesis via 1/4" jack to my Live 2 so that I can loop the native Alesis drum kit that I have dialed in.
Seems like it should be just like a synth input, per the MPC Bible. But I'm not getting any Live 2 speaker
sound from the Alesis kit. I see that it's registering in the MPC, just no sound.
Anyone have experience with this?
*I'm on trying to use the Alesis as a midi controller (yet). I have the kit sound dialed in via the native module (Surge) that I'd like to start looping in my Live 2.
