An MPC noob over here.
Not sure if this bug/issue has been talked about already but I just got my MPC Live II a week or so ago. So far the experience has been great but there are definitely some bugs that are a bit concerning.
One major one is that while Im trying to lay down a few bars or even just going to different menus, the sample saving/loading screen will pop up for a brief second or two "saving" a sample that is already in my drum program. This makes my MPC completely unusable for a time that the loading screen is on. Although its a short second or two this happens a lot....
This happens randomly throughout the time if have the MPC on. Could be 5, 15, or any amount of minutes between each occasion of this happening.
Another issue that keeps happening is that while Im finger drumming quickly some pads just cut out. I have a mute group set for my open and closed hats but the sound cutting usually comes from when playing the kick or snare at the same time as one of my hats too quickly.
Hoping i dont have a bunk unit and that its just a weird firmware issue that can be fixed by reverting to an old one or a future update.
