Hey,
Trying to get back into the MPC Live after letting it collect dust for å few months. Two questions that I haven't been able to find a clear answer to:
1) Can you use the MPC Live to trigger a DAW with USB/midi or do I have to use the midi outs?
2) Does Live support USB C - so I can hook it to my USB 3-Mac without added dongle?

The MPCX/Live can host USB class compliant MIDI *input* devices. but no such *output* devices will work, currently.

E.g. I use a USB3 8x8 MIDI Interface and all inputs work great, but none of the outputs work.

So I would greatly appreciate the inclusion of USB MIDI Output Ports, and multi mode for all MIDI inputs and outputs. Multi mode is what Akai calls multi-timbre functionality, i.e. the ability to select MIDI In *and* Out Ports and Channels by track.

Moi!
Multi midi has been added in the 2.8. firmware update. You need to set it up in the preferences, latest version of the user manual has more info.
