Program Samples Bug

I dont have much information to help fix this one but in 2.8, some how a program that I made polluted a different program. What was weird is the samples of the program that I made were in the 1st layer of the polluted program. I had to reload the polluted program but thought it may help someone to know.

If you see a pad lit up green while you are loading a sample, it will place that sample into the green lit pad.

Make sure that you don't have a green pad when you load, and it will not autoload it into the selected pad.

Thanks for posting but I don't know what your suggestion is referring to. If I load samples into an empty program, I don't think any mechanism should load those samples into a completely different program...

It will load sounds in the active program if your not careful.

Yes, 64 hertz is correct. If you go in to sample with a drum program loaded you will overwrite the samples in that program.

To be more clear. When you intend to sample create a new program. I leave the default “program 1” that loads as my “sampling program”. Samples you intend you sculpt and chop should be in a separate program. When you get your sound right then move it over to your other programs.

Audio tracks work great for sampling long passages like people talking or atmospherics. I’m currently leaning to edit from there and the Mpc is quite the powerful tool in that regard. There a lot under that hood that gets overlooked....
