What's the best way to import .mid files into the MPC X ?

I would like to buy the Unison Midi Chord pack. The pack comes with .mid files of different chords and chord progressions. In Ableton, it looks like people are just dragging the .mid files into the sequencer and it creates the notes onto the sequencer.

I would like to load the chord progressions which are held in .mid format and load them in as chord progressions in the pad performer.

I can load the .mid file into a sequence in the MPC X, and I can hit the pencil button and then convert to progression. After this is done however, is there a way to edit and organize the progression?

I can't even see a way to delete the progression, or rename it, or modify it? I have to imagine it's not just "permanently" on my MPC now is it ?

if you really want to pay for chord progressions though then you just load . mid files in through the browser. they will go to a new sequence and you will need to copy it out of the track 1 and paste them where you want.

How do I modify, rename, or remove a progression once its been made ??
