2.9.1 Live 1 can't go to controller mode (mac OS 10.11)

Hello all, I've put my help request in a wrong topic so I'm back here. Specific problem so i didn't found answers elsewhere

I'm unable to connect my mpc live 1 in controller mode to the mpc software on my mac os 10.11 (el capitan), since I updated to 2.9.1.
It worked before on 2.8 and 2.9.

Now my MPC live1 is on 2.9.1
MPC software : 2.9.1 , when installing, i can't install the driver (need 10.12 or more) . Before this, I could always update ( 2.87, 2.8 2.9 ). without updating the driver, it worked between MPC hard and software.

Here is the situation :

- When MPC soft is on, I connect my mpc live in controller mode (with usb 2.0 cable or 3.0 blue cable) , screen stays with "looking for computer"
- Software gives a error message " driver installation error. The MPC harware drivers were no properly.t installed The controls will not work properly. Please reinstall the following drivers then restart mpc.
MPC Live: out of date"
- When pressing a pad on the MPC, it will trigger in the soft , also the MPC hardware is recognized and usable as audio interface in the soft... But no full connection is made, and screen stays "looking for a computer)

I rolled back to 2.6 version of MPC soft, reinstalled all previous drivers, and it worked ! My Mpc in 2.9.1 is OK in controller mode with 2.6 software ( with less features of course : multi midi, drum synth , etc;. are out) ... It looks definitely a driver issue, if I come back to 2.9.1 , again no more controller mode.

So I've tryed to "open content package" of the 2.6, 2.9 and 2.9.1 software to manually install the previous drivers, but it looks that the 2.9.1 , with this "unable to update drivers" prevails and doesn't "call " the old ones when needing to connect with hardware. So I'm stucked here and I'll be very glad if someone here has an idea . I know i could stay in 2.9 that seemed to work good, but I'm afraid I would like to stay "up to date" and get the midi ports debug feature that is in 2.9.1

Is your Mac too old to update it to 10.12 or higher? Because that would be the simplest way to resolve the problem.

My 8 year old Late 2012 Mac Mini was able to update its OS until Big Sur just came out recently. I waited a good 6 months or more before moving to Catalina (when Akai MPC software and Audacity finally supported it).

Edit: I just saw your other post. If your 2009 Mac can’t go beyond 10.11 you may be out of luck, short of reverting MPC firmware back to 2.6 or whatever version of the software you plan to keep. Or buying a newer (used or new) Mac like my late 2012 Mini.
