Whose the iPad/MPC Ambassador?

I want to update my mpc by downloading the usb firmware update onto my ipad, then xfer to a usb stick. I have what's needed to make the connections, just unsure if it will make my MPC ONE explode....

Funky Lao Tzu! Um mani padme om to you! If you have a penchant for technical questions, how about updating a new mpc one with 2.7.1 fw. Can I skip straight to 2.9? Or must I move sequentially up the updates? It's a simple question but I don't see a answer anywhere. I'm assuming since the updates are still available it's to get all the features of each- each one has only the feature set contained in that particular update....huh?

Playing funky bass never was so complicated.....

No you don’t have to move sequentially. Have your old update waiting in case you wanna go back. New updates are a “roll up”, newest is a roll up of all before.
