You can't do that, but you can do the opposite, map the Drum rack pads to the MPC's Layout and save that configuration as a Drum Rack template in Live.


How is this done? You would be my hero until the next wall I run in to. :worthy:

I been trying to figure this out the past few days! As of now I have my live connected to midi via RME ucx & I can tap out pads on the drum rack but for some reason when i hit a pad on the live it triggers 3 pads on the drum racks , all in different places, not in order whatsoever. So if i put a kick on pad 1 in drum racks (pad 2 on the live, why?) it triggers multiple pads in drum racks at once. It wasnt doing this before and cant figure out a fix. The ultimate goal is to have MPC pads & drum rack pads to match up. Anybody??? Im hoping i can use my live in this scenario cause im on the verge of switching to ableton completely
