Hi, all,

I am a newbie for MPC, and just got a new MPC Live II via Amazon for few days. When I tried sampler and found there is no signal input from Input 1,2 or 3,4 (line mode) for the stereo setting. The increased volume knob on the rare side didn't help as well.

When I switched to phono mode, I can see the gauge up/dn moving for input 3,4.

Is this a defective unit? I didn't see any corresponding setting for sampler line inn from the user guide. Supposedly, it quite straightforward for connection and using.
Anyone got the same problem before? or I am too lucky to get a defective unit? Anything I can do for further debugging?

Beside this, rest functions are normal.

The firmware version is 2.91.

Thanks for read and response~

There is a toggle switch next to the inputs on the rear panel for phono or audio in. Also, you have to turn the input "on," on the sampler screen.

If that does not work, you may have a defective unit...

Id suggest reading the manual before using the MPC.
