Similar to the post I put together for the MPC 500, I figured I'd throw some ramblings together for the newer MPCs as well. Definitely not comprehensive, but for somebody looking through links and trying to get started I figured it might help.

You just bought an MPC Live/X/One, what next?

That's a pretty nifty little guide you laid out there. In the storage section it wouldn't hurt to edit "The MPC Live, X, and One all have an internal storage drive. My advice, do not delete or save any content here." in big red blinking bold font.

Read it, some good stuff to know. I'm receiving my One in a week, so I'm trying to read up as much as I can. Like your angle with it.

You wrote that users are able to move stuff from the mpc to a pc by putting the mpc in controller mode. Is this also the case for the One? Cause I remember reading somewhere that you physically need to remove your usb or sd card to transfer files.

A you're right, I need to fix that in the post. The One doesn't mount USB/SD, which is so dumb.

Also added a section for wireless, ethernet, and bluetooth.

Probably more stuff to add as I think of it...

Yeah sounds like something they locked out softwarewise... Let's hope theyll make it right in a update. Or that a new JJ stands up haha.
