MPX X lag while playing projects

Hi guys.. I have had the mpc X for almost 2 years now and it recently started lagging A LOT while playing previously done projects... I dont know what is the reason because I updated to the latest version, tried formatting all drives etc but nothing changes.

Any suggestions?

reopen old projects and save as another name. perhaps there was something in an update that reduced RAM useage in newer saves? interesting.
