MPC one - The Hype

Hello all,

Do you know if it's possible to create your own patchs from scratch in the Hype. I mean choosing the oscillators and parameters ? Or can we only tweak the presets ?

I didn't find it in the machine or in the last manual.

PS: this new synth in 2.10 is so good. I have the MPC One since three weeks and the 2.10 update is like an unexpected Christmas gift. It's great. I immediately gave up all my other purchase wishes. Thank you Akai team !!!

you can save your own patches… so make a default patch?

Yeah, it is a little unintuitive but you can use the init presets. The thing is that there appears to be several different init presets for the different types of oscillator structures. If you want to make a virtual analog, start with that init patch and the oscillator macros let you choose various virtual analog oscillators, and only virtual analog oscillators. If you want to mix VA with samples, you need to choose that init patch. It doesn’t appear that there is a way to choose the patch type after you have chosen to start editing a patch. I hope that helps.

I think I will study all the presets and make init presets when interested by cleaning up the tunings and effects.
