Has anyone here tried using a universal audio apollo twin usb with the mpc? Trying to figure out if it works and is bus powered.

No it’s not and it won’t happen as all of UAD’s interfaces are not class compliant.Spoke with a representative in their forums..

Yep. UAD needs drivers for using the integrated DSP. This is NOT a class compliant feature, and it will never be.

Steinberg was able to make their UR44 interface work in Class Compliant mode, even though there's integrated DSP. You just can't control the integrated DSP in CC mode, but you can use it as an audio interface. When there's a will, there's a way. Maybe UAD don't have the will.

Oh well. The UA converters aren’t great anyways. I’ll stick to apogee
