MPC Live mk1.

Standalone.

Is there a way to do this and if so, could you explain how.

I have a project in which I wish to route four banks, to four outputs.

Banks 1 & 2 are routed to Output 1 and Output 2. Banks 3 & 4 are routed to Output 3 and Output 4.
(mono mix is fine)

I can hear banks 1 & 2 through the headphones, panned either side as expected.

I cannot hear banks 3 & 4 through the headphones.

I wish to be able to hear everything through the headphones.

When I have routed banks 3 & 4 into submixes, I can hear them through the headphones.

Is there a way to route the submixes to 3 and 4,in order to monitor them through the headphones, if I can't monitor them when routed to 3 & 4 perhaps?

I'm aware that if I use my mixing desk, I can pfl each through that, however I'm trying to do it through the box, due to space and not wishing to work on the project in front of the desk.

Thanks

No you cannot do what you want only with the MPC. Either get a sound card that supports it or a mixer with plf. The headphones will only mirror output 1 & 2.

I had a similar issue couple years back. This was my answer...

4 channel micro mixer with one TRS out. Very small and pocket sized so no space issues. Does run on 12v.

However, if you can tolerate a little feedback, you can build your own passive mini mixer without any power at all. Its as easy as wiring an electric guitar.
