sample my drum machine longer than 16 bars from different sequences ?
my solution at this point it to
1] sample my drum machine within each sequence using AUDIO TRACKS
2]then load that audio file into a clip program.
I then use the pad mixer to do basic mixing [levels, panning, reverb, etc.]
3] arrange the sequences in SONG MODE with the clip programs instead. these song are usually 100-200 bars
4] solo tracks & export to WAV onto my SD card
With the looper maxed at 16 bars, the only thing I can think of tracking out to Ableton & then loading the drum wave files back into the MPC. Any way to do this just the MPC. I am trying to end up something simple like the following – a basic 3-6 track setup:
1] MPC loop
2] MPC cuts
3] kicks & low tom
4] snare & hi-hats
5] analog bassline

I dig GROOVEBOXES & essential hardware.
