LIVE II Browser Freezes viewing extensions - controller mode

Every time I use the device to browse for extensions in controller mode everything hangs, MPC Live screen shows four dots loading, and the software completely freezes.
browsing for extensions works fine from the software, and it works fine in standalone mode.
Software/Firmware version: 2.10.1
OS: Windows 10 x64
any idea how to solve this? it's becoming a bit debilitating TBH.

Perhaps uninstall your expansions and try putting them back one at a time, it could be a corrupted expansion.
