Noob question but how would I try to fit a sample that’s isn’t exactly 5 bars into a 5 bar loop

time warp, chop it and flip it, chop it and create a program/events...

I'm just guessing though, since a lot of this depends on the type of content, how much you are willing to change it, what you're trying to do... etc...

Cuz that’s how long the sample was
Like I had looped it already on a pad but when I tried to record it was off by a couple seconds

I had pitched it and looped it on a pad but when I recorded it on 5 bars it was off by a couple seconds and I wasnt trying to change it cuz of how perfect it sounded and when I tried to warp it had too much of that weird noise when you timestretch samples

To make things easier for yourself....I would Process Time Stretch it down to 4 Bars.

If the only problem you had when you warped it was the sound.....go into controller mode and make sure you have the highest quality audio set for time stretch, flatten the pad that the loop is on and it should sound much better.

Or you could adjust the tempo to match the loop length, old style.
