Mellotron etc

Hi there

New to MPC and this forum, so hello!

I have an MPC Live II and I updated the firmware to 2.10, however I only have the option to load Bassline, Electric and Tubesynth, along with the MPC Drum Plugins. I installed 2.10.01 tonight but still the same problem. Can anybody help please?

Hey Dorman, welcome to the forum!
Did you install the synth content folder to the root level of your SD card or SSD drive? (NOT internal drive).
It's located in your Akai account.
It is a separate download, not part of the firmware update. You'll need it to use the synths.
Easiest way I found was to connect the MPC to your computer & just drag & drop the folder straight onto the SD/SSD & you have the synths.
If you encounter further problems, I would recommend re-installing the firmware.

As above to reiterate-it's just the synth folder you want.

you dont even have to sign in to accquire the content anymore its hosted on the akaipro website that advertises them
