MPC 2.10 - MIDIport inconsistency btwn standalone and ctrl

Hi,

I'm on MPC 2.10.1 software and MPC 2.10.1.83 firmware ; running on Mac OS 14 (Mojave)

I just noticed a big problem with the MIDI port assignment in 2.10.
I often switch between standalone and controller mode and every time I switch and load a project I've been working on in the other mode, the MPC's midi port assignment gets messed up.

for example, in Controller Mode, I assign a midi track to live port 1.
When I open the same project in standalone, the midi track is not assigned to any midi port.

The problem comes from there:
the software is built so that the midi ports are called "MPC live port 1, MPC live port 2, ...";
and in the hardware MPC, the midi ports are called "Midi port A, Midi port B".
Am I the only one ?

this problem has been around for at least 2.8.

How to report this childish bug to Akai?

...add it to the other childish bugs - like why is muting a track not working if a track is forwarded to another track (in standalone, do not know if this in the software too ) ... sorry for the sarcasm - it makes me think they are not working with their own software/hardware.
