I am having trouble setting up the iPad as a sound source for the MPC Live 2.
iPad is receiving MIDI from the MPC through the Roland UM-ONE USB to 5-pin midi interface. As long as I am in the MIDI tab on my MPC Midi Program, the MPC pads are triggering the synth and I am getting sound through the iPad speakers. But when I connect the iPad headphone output to the MPC line ins using my Hosa 3.5mm to 1/4" cables, I get no sound.
However, when I am in the AUDIO tab of the MPC Midi Program, the Hosa cables are sending sound through the MPC - but only when I'm playing the iPad keyboard. It doesn't receive Midi from the pads.
I've tried running this setup in new programs and existing programs with the same results.
Any ideas?
