What's up everybody?
I have an issue when playing back samples that i saved on my SD Card directly from my MPC One.
Here's what i did and what happens after that:
I do not only want to use the MPC One to make beats, but also to save some samples for later. Like for example i hear a certain snare in a track, i want to keep it, so i sample the part of the original song, single out the snare sound and then save it via the pen-tool of the Drum Program and then "Save Current Sample".
So far so good, that works and i can find my saved samples on my SD Card when browsing. However when playing back those samples the samples will be played either extremely pitched up or extremely pitched down (fast and slow). What i think is happening right there is the fact that somehow it stores the detected BPM that the MPC detects for every sample and then when it plays back the sample it adjusts it according to the current BPM of the sequence. I played around with the detected BPM a little bit, saved the samples again, and indeed they where played back in a different speed or pitch than before, however still in a adjusted speed.
When i load the samples they sound just fine, it is just the playback. However it makes them rather unusable, because i do not want to load each an every sample and then check if i want to use it or not.
So is there any way to save a sample without any tempo information or another workaround for it?
I'd really appreciate some help on this one, since i just want to leave my PC out of the calculation as often as possible.
Thanks!
