Earlier today I was using my MPC live 2, there were no issues or problems, I shut it off and continued with my day. So I few hours goes by and I decided to start using it again. I hit the power button and it begins to come on as usual, but after the initial loading screen ends an error message pops up stating “ no internal audio device can be found!” Then it immediately shuts down. Has anyone here ever had a similar experience and know how to resolve the problem?

Yep. Brand new mpc live mk2, six hours of use and constant 'recovered from internal error' and then 'no internal audio device found' with the cpu showing something in the 1000's.

Spoke to the retailer and they replaced straight away, and confirmed the mpc was borked.

That may not be helpful in your situation, however as you asked for simial experiences, I'm sharing.
Good luck.

There is an way to reflash the firmware:

When your MPC is turned of hold down this button combination:

FULL Level + Bank C + Erase and push the power button while holding those buttons down.
It will bring you to the controller update mode. connect it to your computer and update your MPC with the latest firmware.
