MPC LIVE II - Imported MIDI File No Sound

I have a MIDI file on my SD card. The file contains only drum notes on Channel 10. I loaded the file into a track in one of my sequences, but I can't hear it. I can't figure out how to "link" an acoustic drum kit patch to this MIDI file sequence so that I can hear it. I can see the MIDI notes on the track, and see them playing if I hit Play. But no sound. I do have an acoustic kit loaded in and showing in the Main window just below the track with the MIDI file loaded.

I'm sure I must be missing something simple, but I can't see what it is. Any help would be appreciated.

If the kit is an MPC 'DRUM' program, change the track type from MIDI to DRUM. You might find that the MIDI Notes assigned to the pads in your kit do not match the intended instruments from the MIDI file, so you'll either have to change the MIDI notes in the track or re-map the program, a per: https://www.mpc-tutor.com/re-mapping-mi ... drum-kits/
