I'm trying to export expansions but it keeps saying that all of my drives are read only which is not true because I checked and I want to import the expansions on my mpc live.

Do you have a drive installed in your Live (SSD, regular HD)? If so, is it formatted as ExFAT type? If it’s formatted as NTFS you won’t be able to write to it, just read from it, thus causing the “read only” error. Same thing with any SD Cards or USB flash drives.

I think I can only use it with my computer meaning I think it's an ntfs How do I check if my expansions are in that format?

If you can see the drive while it’s mounted to your computer right click on the drive, choose Properties (Windows) or Get Info (Mac) and see if the format type is NTFS, FAT32 or ExFAT. That will tell you what way your Live’s drive is formatted.

Expansions don’t have a format themselves. What you’ll need to do is copy anything on that drive temporarily to another drive and reformat the drive itself in ExFAT format. Then copy those files back to the newly formatted drive.
