Hi folks,

Super annoying that there's no on / off button for the filter.

Or anyone know of secret way to do this?

Actually, same goes for the pitch & amp envelopes.

And does anyone know where is the official place to make feature requests?

Thanks!

You can select all pads and turn the filter type to off. Page 199 of manual.

Also, you should be able to set the default type of filter to off in global preferences, so anytime you create a new drum program, the filter will be set to off.

If you're trying to automate it, nope won't work. The one parameter they left out is Filter Type, so you cant switch it to off when you want to and turn it back on to do some cool filter sweeps in a song. You cant use the filter plugins either because the one parameter there you cant automate is the on/off button. When I have shit like that I want to do in a project, I have to just keep mental notes (or write them down) and wait and do all that with a filter plugin in the DAW once I track it all there. Ive done bounces in the MPC but then you end up having to make more tracks just for these filters one shots in one part of a song and its just easier to do it in the DAW. None of the filters in the MPC can do what Rift does so it always works out better in the end that way anyways.

I’m sure ableton or maschine has some way to do this, but real hardware comes with real limitations … . . . .
