Any way to disconnect sequence from track?

then press the "Send to" another track, the one you have defined for this purpose as a MIDI OUT track that can "relay" your drum track notes to external midi out and channel of your choice... hope it helps to be more sepcific ( it's a feature that appeared on 2.8 i think)
