USB Hub Question

hey Yall

first post here, so i apologize if this question has been asked before..

im running an MPC one (FW v.2.10.1)

i was wondering if there are any issues with using a usb hub to utilize both a usb storage device (thumb drive) and a usb MIDI controller..

the storage drive is used primarily as a method of importing/storing samples; beats, patterns, and synth content is stored on an SD card

i can power the midi controller via DC, but i wasnt sure if the MPC will get confused with two separate devices?

You can use a good quality powered USB hub for all USB related activities on your MPC - drives, MIDI devices, audio interface, ethernet adapter, etc, all simultaneously.

I completely agree with the above, but for travelling light with my Live I, I also sometimes use an unpowered 4-port hub and run a midi keyboard and OP-1 (not as an interface mind, purely as a sound module) without any issues.
