I am using a FocusRite 18i8 for interface. Works fine except if I hit mute track I am getting sound out of the L speaker still but at a lower volume than when not muted. Right speaker no sound. Any idea why this might be happening?

sending anything to a send/return or other effect?
in preferences how do you have your track mutes set?
