do you think akai will bake out a new major update for the current mpc lineup ? i come from the mpc1000 with JJ OS2XL and i'm surprised that some features of it aren't implemented in the current lineup, like having a master filter and enveloppes, etc. on keygroup programs, i'd love to see them iron out some bugs too.

I'm sure Akai are hard at work on the next update. Judging from the time that has lapsed since 2.10 appeared (July 2021!) I'd imagine they'll add and fix some things as usual.

That's because those features weren't put in there by Akai, they were put in there by JJ.
JJOS has nothing to do with Akai other than the fact that it was initially built off the stolen source code for the MPC1000/2500 after JJ got fired and went rogue. Akai had nothing to do with any of it.

That said we should be due for an update soon I would think. Its been awhile, and they really need to get a move on with the Apple Silicon stuff and porting that shoddy plugin to VST3 since VST2 is finally going away too.

InMusic must really love this website, as it serves as a wonderful customer support they don't even have to pay and buffer for requests so that none of these ever touch InMusic "support channels"...

They went **** with Akaipro.com recently too. Now when you go to login to your account, it redirects you to your new BS 'InMusic Store Profile' instead.

didn't mean it that way, more like those are basic features that any sampler should have, IMO.

I wonder if my information from Akaipro.com has been transferred to inMusic store.
