Yeah, on Hype's product page it does say you can save your "customizations" (presets), but... there is literally no way to do it (either running in desktop mode or as a VST/AU in any DAW). :WTF:

...super frustrating. Basically, you have to run the MPC Software just like we used to, and modify/save presets in the pop-up window there (seems to work fine in the MPC Software, as it always has). Makes running these as plugins in other DAW (or in desktop mode to build libraries) pointless, though.

Sort of.. You seen Dave's modular stuff now?? The Z Plane filters from the Morpheus/Proteus are Eurorack now and he's got a pretty killer sampler engine as well. Not quite as 'easy' as an EIV but he's still in the game.

Creative should have let them finish the USB addon for the EIV, and those samplers would be absolutely perfect. They just about are anyways, but Id rather send stuff and edit over USB then pulling out an SD card all the time.
