Yesterday while using the MPC Live 2 I got an error message I think it was something about the memory and my mpc turned off and when I turned it back on it took forever to start up and started running really slow like it was freezing the picture . All the projects and data that were in its internal memory were also deleted, and now when I save a project and restart the MPC nothing is saved, it works very slowly and takes more than a minute to start. The only way the MPC works well is when it is in controller mode connected to the akai software on the PC. I hope someone can help me.

It sounds like either your internal drive is corrupt, or the built in memory is faulty. The internal drive can be replaced, it's just a micro SD card, although you have to be comfortable taking apart your MPC. The memory is not replaceable. First step though, is your MPC still under warranty? If so, send it back to Akai and they will fix it.
