MPC Live - curiosity - not listed for 2.11

In no rush to embrace the 2.11 firmware (2.9.1 most reliable for me), but do love a roll of the dice so will give it a go soon

Just a curiosity, notice that on this page: https://www.akaipro.com/mpc211 , my trusty mk1 MPC Live isn't shown in the banner picture, and the red link buttons to the specific hardware, when you go to the MPC Live, the download is still 2.10... X, Live 2 etc have 2.11.

A Live and an X are basically the same machine inside (i believe?) so theres no reason to not update the Live with 2.11.

Maybe its a 'discontinued product' thing...thats what i think anyway.

Anyway, no beef, just a curiosity.

The other hardware pages have been specifically updated with the 2.11 link top, front and centre.

In positive and surprising news, I've done the update and the input bug that kept me at 2.9 has been resolved, so I'm enjoying the fruits of 2.11. Thank you AKAI, we dont always agree, but its great to see a 4 or 5 year old product receive updates.

On start up / load project, the audio from the bass synth should pass through automatically. Somewhere in one of the firmwares a bug came along that meant it didn't pass automatically, but the work around was on the bass input track to toggle the selected input from 1 to 2, back to 1... bass!

Very soon after the bug first showed up it was fixed in a minor point up date, maybe 2.9.4. Then, bug was back in 2.10. So i stayed on 2.9.4 and duly reported the bug. I tested it in 2.10 adding remove plugins on input 1 etc, couldnt get a consistent response.

I'm glad its fixed, i play live, in standalone and kinda want everything to work when I load the project without having to check for those kind of things. Far far from a deal breaker, but makes my life better having it work as expected

The Live should be fine for standalone firmware updates for as long as the One/Live 2 are also working, they all have the same internal board so there would be no technical reason for it to not work. Akai would have to purposely exclude it from installing. Can't say the same for controller mode though, the Live has it's own driver so you are reliant on Akai continuing to maintain that whenever there's a new MacOS or Windows release (or as we've seen recently, whenever a new chip platform is released)
