Can you choke a program with another program?

Sorry if this has been asked, I can't seem to find an answer when searching here/google.

As the title says, can a program choke another program?

Ah damn, I might have to add that to the requests if it hasn't been already heh.

The only solution would be putting all pads on both programs in the same mute group, since those work globally. But that'll choke the pads among a single program as well. So that's not quite the workaround you might find handy.

Not a bad shout but it would mean either having all the fx on each pad (since they'd be different channels) which would be pretty crazy to set up tbh, or of course resampling. May not be the perfect solution, but a workaround at least still. Not a deal breaker of a feature request either way, but would be pretty handy to have... Just feel there's probably more pressing requests

You can try with mother ducker and use extreme settings so one program chokes the other (but not vice-versa)

That's an interesting one, might have to try that!

This is mainly for interchanging drum breaks really, so I may just change up my workflow a bit and not start with the slicing/chopping and instead just loop and eq them, then resample, merge into one bank, then chop, then start working on stuff.

Would be neat if more choke options were added at some point. But at least there's a few flavours of workarounds haha
