crackle on exported wav files

when I wanted to export my tracks to mix them in cubase, there was cracking (digital noise)

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Difficult to tell, as many things can cause it. This is a digital plasitc box and it does not like overload.
Usual things to check first
- USB cable has a couple of coils (thick thing on both ends...)? Nothing to do with the export, but cheap cable = cheap results...
- Distorted by too much Duck, Compressor, etc? - do a clean export without Effects...

Maybe some other lads or ladies have more ideas.
I do not have this experience with my X.

EDIT: Playing back the export on the MPC - do you hear the crackle too?

1st see if the Levels of the Samples are under 0db before exporting. See if that helps
