Greetings everyone! New user here, recently joined the MPC family :)

I've been fighting to control with MIDI my MPC One lately. My plan is to use it as the main station por my solo project live situations, using it to launch backing tracks and samples.

Is there a way to control sequences via midi? As in the "Next Sequence" menu but using midi messages, so I can swap between song structures without using my hands. (As I'll be playing guitar at the same time)

Song mode isn't giving me the flexibility I'm looking for, as I'm also doing live looping with the guitar and might need some extra repeats if I mess up the loop recording.

Thank you!

With another device plugged into the MPC, yes.

Preferences> Midi/Sync>At the bottom "program change" select "Sequence". Sent program changes from another device/daw will switch the sequences to the corresponding #.

You could get a midi pedal board to send the program changes, or have another system running in time sending the changes.

Getting the MPC to play nice with midi clock receive is another story however. I've had mixed success with it honestly.
