MPC One: Problem with song mode, and track length

I have the track length set to 11 beats on one of my tracks in a sequence, but when I go to song mode and convert my sequences into one, the track doesn't loop it just ends at the bar. Is there anything I can do to get around this, or is it just pointless to set track length. Plz help

You have to do a loop back Midi out to midi in to record your odd length track to another track. That track will have your odd beats loop on it but still conform to the sequence length. Then you use song mode. I haven’t played with this for a while, so I’m not sure if it changed but you can also send the tracks midi to another track. Ideally you would be able to record that second track but the midi won’t record on the second track. That may have changed so you should try that first to be sure. If not do the loop back. There is a 10 ms delay on the loop back track so you will have to select all notes then nudge the first note back to the start position.

Thanks and no problem. If you have a loop that you like and don't plan on doing much editing to it, bouncing it to a pad works well also
