Is there any way to just play through the plugin library without loading and saving all sounds in project?
I just think it's unnecessary to load everything up just to find the right sound that fits the project.
I know that you can do it in the MPC 2/beats -daw and every other daws, but I can't find any way to do it in standalone-mode.

Sorry if it's already been discussed. I can't be the only one who have thought about it.

Loading synth plugin patches is not a problem as they tend to use minimal memory and will automatically replace the existing patch when loaded (e.g via the sounds browser). Kits and instruments in sample expansions will use up memory and will not be automatically replaced when you load another - the way around this is to load up an expansion instrument, play it a bit with your pads or keys and if you don’t like it hit the undo button. This will instantly remove it from memory. Now load up the next sample instrument

Thanks! I didn't knew that! I was just annoyed by the fact that everything was loaded into the project. That helped me a lot!

Some plugins are thirsty, like studio strings and the stage piano plugin, but they should automatically purge from memory if you replace them with a different plugin patch. It’s just sample programs that stay in memory unless you manually delete and purge, hence the undo workaround
