HELP: Recording Effects Automation

As the title says, can I record effects automation like recording track mutes?

The scenario: I am trying to record toggling on/off my Air Flavor Pro effects on a track.

Hmmm...as I wrote that, I now see the issue. The effect is set to the program, not the track, so the effect is either on or off. (I could be wrong here.)

Any suggestions on how I can do it without resampling the track with the effect enabled/disabled?

You cannot record that as an automation.

Duplicate the program and remove / bypass the effekt on the second one. If they share the same mute group you should be good to go.

Thanks. I already created a song as a sequence. So I will duplicate the track and the program ( and apply the Air Flavor Pro to the duplicate program). Then use track mutes to toggle between the original program and program with effects.
