Hitting Play/Start resets selected patch on external synth

Hi there,

I have my Roland Gaia SH-01 (midi in) hooked up to my MPC Live 2 (midi out) and i want to use pad performance to play the sounds from my synth. But everytime i restart my sequence by pressing Play/Start on the mpc, it resets my bank selection on the Gaia to bank 1 patch 1.

I am new to the MPC so im not sure what is happening here, is there a way to fix this issue?

List Edit is blank and Bank MSB is off and LSB is set to 0. Is this what its supposed to be set to? its still giving me the same issue

MSB of off, and LSB set to 0 should be okay, and I don't think would cause those problems.

Do you have both midi in and midi out connected, or just live midi out to Gaia midi in? I think you just have one midi cable connected... but wanted to confirm you don't have a midi loop.

Its just Live MIDI out A thats going into my MIDI in on the Gaia

Check Rx program change in Gaia Is off
Press both "cancel/shift" + "v-link" then Press and hold "rec" and Press "preset patch"
Key lighted up is "on" Key turned off Is "off".
Then Press "cancek/shift" to exit.

For toraiz i don't know. Should be' checked "Rx program change" on owner manual for disabling function
