Say I've created a KeyGroup by resampling a plugin and I want to now adjust the amp envelope's shape or filter cutoff, etc. I can obviously do it for each sample & repeat, but I'd rather do that for all of them at once if possible.

Surely there's a way? :hmmm:

That will need some work by Akai. I have PGMs with multiple keypgroups (4-8) that will be a drag to edit. Every time I hit a note, it changes the keygroup from ALL to the keygroup of the played note. This makes tweaking and checking the sound of the change very challenging and slow.

What tweaking can Akai do to ALL when it’s doing what it's supposed to do, changing ALL if you leave it set to ALL. I’m not understanding.

Right now, it is impossible (as far as I know and see) to "lock" the keygroup selection to ALL. The minute you strike a note, you are switched to editing the keygroup of the struck note. This makes it VERY difficult to edit all keygroups and apply changes and hear the changes to the instrument holistically. Terrible workflow if you are into creating instruments.

When you tap a pad, the layers appear to switch, but they are still locked at "ALL". So you can adjust the parameters of all layers at once while checking the sound.

This is helpful info. Thank you!

It's the same with Force. The screen does not show what it's actually going to do. If you tap it, you can select e.g. "all", but then the text changes when you play something, even though it's still internally, invisibly set to "all". It's just bad UI design. I also don't get how it's your fault that you don't understand what the UI means when it's messed up like that.

Hopefully they "fix" and/or change this to be more intuitive in the future. I've got some really cool Keygroups, and sound design stuff I like doing.
