I want simply rec in logic my Mpc tracks, how I sync?
Is enough the usb 3.0 cable from the mpc X to my Mac Studio?
What I had to do after?
Or is mandatory a MIDI cable?

Thanks :worthy:

You need mpc software as a vst in Logic don’t you?
X will see mpc software, and logic will see mpc software.

Another option is to send (or receive) sync over midi and use a separate audio interface.

Or run the MPC software and sync that to logic. (seem to recall logic can only run as master?

another way is to use ableton link over wi-fi, no need for any cable and my experience with it (syncing mpc live mk1 to ableton live for recording in grid) has been pretty solid. logic pro has ableton link as well.

avevo appunto scritto che ableton link c'è anche in logic, è un tipo di sync inventato da ableton ma diffuso anche su altre piattaforme. fidati, è molto comodo.
