MPC X - disassembly

Hi Folks

Anyone know of any pics/videos of someone dissembling an MPC-X. Wanting to replace my browse encoder.

Has anyone actually replaced the big dial on the X?

I want to replace it with a metal one with finger indent but can't find out whether it just pulls off. Don't want to damage it by forcing it.

Damn Near Complete Disassembly! Bottom Panel Off, Lots of Ribbon Cable/Wire Harnesses, OLED Board Removal, Remove/Replace Dial from the inside...whew!

So this is just to replace the main big knob. It doesn't just pull off like the others?

How exactly is it fixed from underneath?

You may examine the dial button if there‘s a screw somewhere. In worst case it‘s below the surface.
If there‘s no screw, you may need a lever tool to lift the dial in very small steps while turning it into various positions.
(the q-links on my MPC Studio were sitting extremely tight on the shafts of the encoder)
