Good evening

I encountered and issue with my pads acting odd on the mpc one and it looked like a hardware issue but the solution was unexpected.

I was asked on the inmusic support chat if the mpc is plugged in directly in a wall socket or in a powerstrip.

Unplugged it from powerstrip and directly in a wall socket and all pads acted normal again.

Back into the powerstrip but a different socket on it and all good.

Hope this will be of use as I was devastated at the thought having to send it in and never assumed the solution could be that simple.

All the best for all of yous.

1. Dirty electricity from the first outlet maybe.
I keep my most important gear plugged into a rackmount power conditioner/surge/rf, etc.

2. Too many other devices drawing power from the power strip maybe.
Power strip has a low rating… could be part of #2 problem as well.

3. Use the power adapter that came with the device or an exact same spec’s adapter.
